Smoking with benzoin has an ancient tradition in Asia, as the trees and shrubs from which the resin is extracted originally grow in East Asia. However, related species can also be found in parts of South America. These are resin-forming trees of the Styrax family.
They are characterized by sometimes very long, often rigid leaves, which give the tree a somewhat silvery appearance.
A hint of vanilla, delicate sweetness, a bit of the feeling of a piece of chocolate melting on the tongue - this wonderfully pleasant fragrance is created when smoking benzoin.
One pack contains 50g gcoarsely ground resin in premium quality, ideal for smoking with charcoal or a sieve.

Das Benzoe riecht sehr gut, nutze einen Weihrauchschwenker dafür und brenne es auf der Kohle.
