In January, we were back in India for a week - not because we have to - but because we want to. Over many years, we have developed a very close and familiar cooperation with our manufacturers has developed over many years and so we like to visit our Indian friends regularly.
Since our daughter Jasmin is only 2½ years old and we wanted to spare her the long flight, I was accompanied by my father (Christian) was accompanied by my father Dieter, who also helps with our logistics helps with logistics. When we arrived in Bengaluru (the traditional name for Bangalore) we took the opportunity to meet up with all sorts of people again and enjoyed spending time with them: Workers who produce our incense sticks, the family themselves and their newborn, suppliers such as the cardboard factory and many more.
With every visit visit, you notice the personal appreciation and joy - regardless of caste or of caste or status. There is also no shortage of selfies ... felt like 5 of them with each individual :-)
But we also use such time to talk about innovations, ideas or even ecological topics. talk about. In future, our outer boxes will be made from recycled paper and printed with appropriate information. Because we think that the whiteness of a paper (which is slightly darker due to recycling) does not automatically mean poorer quality - rather, we want to to encourage people to rethink existing processes again and again.
In addition some new developments this year: particularly effective anti-mosquito mosquito incense sticks (incl. matching holder) or gift sets designed as wooden designed gift sets. Production of these is already underway and we expect the new items in mid-March. By purchasing our products directly products, everyone benefits:
- our manufactory, which is pleased to have a partner that does not have the usual "price squeeze mentality"
- we at Luxflair, as we receive the highest quality products with a social background through the partnership
- YOU as our customer, as you are not co-financing unnecessary importers, wholesalers and middlemen
All in all, it was another great few days, which we look forward to repeating again and again.
