Why do DEVASANA products bear hazardous substance symbols and labels even though they are organic?
Some essential oils and pure alcohol are legally classified as hazardous substances because, for example, they are highly flammable or can damage the environment if undiluted or in large quantities. The regulation does not differentiate between chemical substances and natural essential oils. Since the labeling requirement applies even to small quantities, our aura sprays must be labeled with the hazardous substance symbols and the hazard phrases, even if we do not consider the ingredients to be hazardous in low concentrations.
